Kurt Deimer entered movie making through a back door. A successful businessman, he had the opportunity to place products in Trading Paint, a 2019 feature film starring John Travolta.

“I went down to cut a check and ended up shooting a cameo. I was expecting to have a non- speaking role and they started taking photos of me while hanging out one night until 2 a.m. They said ‘We need a track announcer to interview Toby and they offered me a speaking role. Next thing I know I’m learning my lines and working with John Travolta around what he wants me to do and going through my dialogue with him.”

A year later he had a role in Halloween (2018) directed by David Gordon Green and his character was actually killed off by Michael Myers.

Inspired by that project he decided to create his own Hellbilly Hollow horror franchise, which is his first feature film is now in post production.

Not only did Deimer produce Hellbilly Hollow he will be the lead actor in the film, which was shot at the actual Hellbilly Hollow, a haunted event location in Vincent, Alabama.

Kurt also has two other movie roles in post production in Scared To Death (starring Lin Shaye and Bill Mosely) as well as The Burrowing Heart (starring Kevin Wayne).
